A welcomed addition to the neighborhood indeed. My wife and I walked up to El Ranchero tonight for dinner and it was exactly what we were hoping for...tasty chips and salsa washed down with delicious cocktails only to be way too full when our oversized yummy entrees arrived. I was a little confused by the BYOB margaritas but don't be...they have several different fresh mixers for sale. You provide the tequila and they'll give you everything you need to make the perfect margaritas (shot glass, shaker, strainer, ice and a salted glass). We'll definitely be back and next time we'll bring more tequila for those peach margaritas. We both enjoyed and would recommend our meals (shredded beef enchiladas and pollo poblano).

Ordered takeout and the food was delicious so I can only imagine how good it tastes directly from the kitchen. So happy to find a new local New Mexican food spot!

The birria tacos were AMAZING 10/10, portions were good, super flavorful, everything!! The staff was super friendly and the interior of the restaurant was so bright and colorful! Will definitely come here again!

My husband and I just dined here for lunch and it was AMAZING! Chips and salsa is very authentic and delicious. We split this entree which had steak, shrimp, and sausage and chicken with tortillas and we absolutely loved it. I highly recommend the place. They did a great job with the decor and staff was very friendly.

I don’t know how this place doesn’t have more stars! The service was friendly and quick, the food was delicious, and the decor is so authentic! We ordered flautas for apps (not pictured), steak fajitas, shrimp fajitas and enchiladas - they were so yummy! not overly salted or seasoned, and everything came out in such a timely manner. We also ordered agua de jamaica and horchata - both delicious and refreshing. Our server was friendly and checked in on us often. So glad there’s a good Mexican restaurant close by, can’t wait to go back again!
